An MMA fight is a 3-round bout with a 1-minute rest in between rounds.&amp;nbsp; For the workout, each round consists of five exercises with each exercise being 1-minute in duration of work (totalling five minutes).&amp;nbsp; You then rest for one minute before repeating the same five minute round.&amp;nbsp; You repeat this cycle until a total of three rounds have been completed.&amp;nbsp; The total of all your repetitions is your score.&amp;nbsp; Make no doubt about it, this is a race and a competition for who can perform the most amount of work within the given timeframe.&amp;nbsp; Test your fitness by doing a 17-minute workout!&amp;nbsp; (By the way, did we mention that there was going to be &lt;span closure_uid_73fug0="133" style="background-color: yellow; In 2006, the Fight Gone Bad fundraising event was launched as a one-day International opportunity for the community to turn out as one to create a lasting philanthropic contribution each year. Since then the Fight Gone Bad fundraising event has raised more than $3 million for causes our community has supported.&amp;nbsp; In 2010 the CrossFit Foundation was formed to serve as a resource for all of the CrossFit philanthropic activities. The foundation board works in an advisory capacity with the Sportsgrants Foundation on Fight Gone Bad, and in 2010 became one of the event beneficiaries insuring that funds raised by the community served the community.&amp;nbsp; We are "Zoning",  weighing and measuring our food, through the month of August to test  what kinds of gains (and losses) we can make. How do we determine our  results? With measurable, observable and repeatable data of course. We  will all be weighing in and recording our pre-zone weight and body fat  percentage. At the end of 30 days, we will revisit the numbers and come  up with ou&lt;span class="text_exposed_show"&gt;r challenge winners. Keep in  mind, the winners are based on percentage of change, not necessarily  pounds or inches. ANYONE has the opportunity to win some cash!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This  challenge is open to EVERYONE. Since the first WOD (Workout Of the Day) was announced on CrossFit.com 10 years ago, every day people all over the world have posted their results online. The Open is simply taking this process and raising the stakes.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #999999;"&gt; As described in the &lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="http://media.crossfit.com/cf-video/Games2011_OpenPromo_Cost.mov"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: red;"&gt;video&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #999999;"&gt;, athletes will either complete the Open workouts under judge supervision at registered affiliates, or submit videos of their performances. Throughout the Open, strict requirements for completion will be enforced.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #999999;"&gt; There's a strong incentive for success. The top 60 men, 60 women, and 30 teams in each region will qualify for Regional competition.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #999999;"&gt; Individual participation in the Open will only cost $10 in the U.S. and Canada, and $5 elsewhere. Team registration will begin with every member of a team first registering as an individual. Then, one team member will pay 20 dollars to register as the team captain. It will not cost any additional fees to add team members, regardless of the size of the team. He is a 19-year veteran in Olympic Weightlifting. He represented the U.S. in 9 international competitions and set three American Records (Jr.) Now in his 10th year as a head coach, Camargo has produced several State, Collegiate and National Champions. His latest accomplishment was promotion to U.S. International Level Coach, as well as being elected as President of the Florida Weightlifting Federation. This year, he was selected as Team Leader and Coach of Team USA and spent 10 days with in Romania where they competed at the Junior World Weightlifting Championships. Coach Camargo’s experience and education has made him one of the most well known coaches in the sport of Olympic Weightlifting.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#666666;"&gt;Daniel’s weightlifting career included three Jr. National Championship titles, several Junior American Records, and positions on numerous international teams representing Team USA overseas. At 21 years old and weighing 83kg (182.6lbs.) in his final competition year, Camargo lifted a 152.5kg (334lbs) Snatch and 180kg (396lbs) in the Clean &amp;amp; Jerk, a Junior American Record.
